BSI Recognized as Best Evergreen Company®
From a September 9, 2025 Press Release by Tugboat Institute®
Tugboat Institute® has announced that BSI Constructors has been named one of the Best Evergreen Companies® for 2024. This annual recognition honors privately held companies that embody the Evergreen 7Ps® principles—Purpose, Perseverance, People First, Private, Profit, Paced Growth, and Pragmatic Innovation—and commit to building businesses designed to last 100 years or more. Each of these companies has undergone a rigorous evaluation process and stands out for their commitment to remaining private, growing with purpose, and building businesses that endure while contributing meaningfully to their people, communities, and society.
This year’s Best Evergreen Companies list includes 25 outstanding businesses from across the United States in industries ranging from technology and finance to consumer goods, healthcare, and construction. Three St. Louis headquartered companies were recognized – Edward Jones, Enterprise Mobility, and BSI. “Evergreen companies represent the best of what business can be,” said Dave Whorton, Founder and CEO of Tugboat Institute. “They are led by people who take the long view, who put people and communities at the center, and who consistently choose to build enduring private companies that make society stronger. We are honored to celebrate them through this exciting recognition awards program.”
