STLCC Dedicates New Wildwood Building

It was a big day for Saint Louis Community College as they dedicated their new $80 million Health Sciences and Technology Center at their Wildwood Campus on May 29th. This project is the largest of six that are being constructed across the system. We might be a little biased, but we think it is the best of the six. BSI elected to target this project in part due to our good relationship with program manager Kwame and architect Christner. That turned out to be a good call as the entire project team, most definitely including the Owner, collaborated well throughout the entire process for a very good outcome. Even though design was not complete until October of 2023, we were able to execute some creative contracting (using early bid packages for long lead items) to achieve substantial completion just seventeen months later in March of 2025, which was ahead of the contract schedule!
